Tangled Bond is the second book in the Holly Woods series and I could not wait to read it. I read it right after finishing the first book in the series because I love Noelle and Drake and could not wait to find out what happens with them next. As with the previous book this is another suspenseful read. The cast of characters from the last book are back which means Noelle's family is part of the mix again. I laughed out loud in this book as I did with the first book. Noelle is this strong amazing well written character (all of the characters are extremely well written) and when she is dealing with her family, most especially her grandmother she is hysterical. Noelle and Drake have amazing chemistry. He is a hot and I mean hot alpha and he and Noelle fight constantly because with his alpha tendencies and her independence it makes for some interesting times. The case that Noelle and Drake are trying to solve is not part of the last book. However, you must read the last book in order to understand the dynamic with Noelle and Drake as well as the other characters in the series. I recommend this book and series HIGHLY and am confident that you will be happy you added the Holly Woods series to your reading collection.Product details

Tangled Bond is the second book in the Holly Wood Files. It is a contemporary romantic mystery told from the Noelle’s POV. They are not standalones and must be in order. Tangled Bond picks up about two weeks after Twisted Bond.
I loved this book as much as the first. The humor in this book was a sucks me into these books. You mix in Noelle with her bada$$ gene and Drake with his alpha male syndrome plus throw in an excellent mystery, you get an awesome read.
Noelle continues to shine in this book. She still has no filter, kicking butt, itchy trigger finger and an obsession for cupcakes. She shows no fear except when it comes to Drake. Drake makes her feel unsure of herself. She’s not used to letting her guard down, and that is exactly what happens when Drake is around. Drake is determined to make Noelle his, even if they kill each other in the process. Drake has this need to protect Noelle even though her Tiffany Blue Glock and right hook does an excellent job. Of course they are thrown together to solve the latest murder in Holly Wood.
Throughout the story, humor was played a big part of the overall feel of the book. Noelle had such great lines and the thoughts that went through her head were hysterical. Her banter with Drake is hysterical. Nonna does get into the mess of thing to add that extra touch.
“We already get periods- why the he!! do we need men in our life that’s going to force us to eat copious amounts of ice cream?”
The secondary characters continue to be important in this book. We spend more time learning about Trent, Devin, and Brody’s relationships to Noelle. Each has a unique relationship with Noelle and brings something great out in her.
The mystery/thriller part was awesome. The story had me guessing who did it throughout the book. It was well done and steady throughout the book. The” who did it” storyline did speed up at the end with the intensity of the story, which was perfect.
I would consider this book a must read because of the humor, romance, incredible mystery, and great secondary characters. I floved this book and series.
This series follows Private Investigator Noelle Bond and Police Detective Drake Nash through out the series. Their relationship advancement is ongoing throughout each book but the murder/murders that are investigated are solved by end of that book.
The last book ended with Noelle finally agreeing to go on a date with Drake.. Even though they finally gave into their feelings one night and Noelle agreed to one date doesn't not mean these two stopped butting heads and throwing insults. And really where would be the fun in that..
The murder in this one is a friend of the Mayor's daughter and he personally hires Noelle to solve the case alongside the police department. Boy this one had so many twist and turns and shocking revelations at the end.. Twisted it was...
